SFPA Welcomes the South Carolina Forestry Commission!

The South Carolina Forestry Commission

We are pleased to welcome the South Carolina Forestry Commission! The Commission joined SFPA as an Associate Member on April 1, 2020. Established by law in 1927, the Commission has around 350 employees, all dedicated to protecting, promoting, enhancing, and nurturing South Carolina’s forest resources. The Commission operates five state forests, as well as a modern forest nursery which grows over 17 million containerized and bareroot seedling species for South Carolina landowners. Additionally, the Commission provides a range of educational programs to better inform the state’s citizens concerning the wise use and management of South Carolina’s forest resources. We look forward to exploring opportunities to collaborate with the Commission on future international wood product promotion efforts.

As an Associate Member of SFPA, the South Carolina Forestry Commission will enjoy a wide range of member benefits, including access to exclusive trip reports, contacts, and trade leads.
