SFPA Fall Committee Meetings were held on October 16 in San Antonio, immediately prior to the NAWLA Traders Market.
The Expo Advisory Committee reviewed the Exhibitor and Attendee Surveys from the 2019 Expo and discussed the need to increase visitor attendance at the show. The dates for the 2021 show will keep the same pattern, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and are tentatively scheduled in August 2021. Exhibitor Sales for 2021 will begin in mid-2020.
The Board of Directors received updates on SFPA staffing, membership, the International Program, Expo, SLB Partnership, financial update, and the 2020 Budget was reviewed and approved.
Julia Milrod, SFPA Communication Manager presented a preview of the new SFPA.org website which is now live. You can reach all websites from SFPA.org. Links to the Product Locator and Publications are easily accessible, and Join SFPA is also prominent on the home page.
The next meeting is scheduled March 25-27, 2020 in New Orleans, where a joint meeting with Southeastern Lumber Manufacturers Association will be held. Registration materials will be distributed in January.
