Established as Precision Sales and Equipment in 1964, Precision Husky Corp. produces equipment for the sawmill, chip mill, waste recycling, material handling, in-woods chipping, log, and timber industries.
Based in Moody, Alabama, the company manufactures 80 different products related to the wood industry.
The manufacturer has a diversified line of forestry-related products and equipment. Three divisions, Precision Sawmill Equipment, Husky Knuckle-boom loaders, and Progrind Tub and Horizontal Grinders along with a worldwide dealer network, allow Precision Husky to service many segments of the forest products industry on a global scale.
Their line of equipment includes Precision Chippers, Sawmill and High-volume Chip Screens, and Vibrating Conveyors and Rosserhead Debarkers for 36-48-inch diameter logs.
The chipper comes in 10 sizes, from 38 inches to 118 inches. Depending on the screen model, there are 10 different sizes available for most applications in the industry, including the PDS Disc Scalping screen.
The Husky division includes the Husky Brute Loader, which comes in three sizes, XL-175, XL-245, and XL-345, each with numerous options.
Progrind, Precision Husky’s grinding line, offers tub and horizontal grinders with several sizes and horsepower, including an electric option.
