American SoftwoodsSouthern Pine lumber shipments in August totaled 1.279 billion board feet, 2% below July’s revised shipments of 1.304 BBF. July was revised upward 1%. August year-to-date shipments totaled 10.045 BBF or 4% above the same period in 2012, and 10% above the same period in 2011. The seasonally adjusted annual rate for July is 14.882 BBF.
