year from the USDA's Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS), SFPA through its
marketing arm

the Southern
Pine Council (SPC)
–
works to position Southern Pine as an approved
structural material throughout Europe, Mexico, the Caribbean, China, Japan,
India and the Middle East. Using a team of international consultants, SFPA works
with industry leaders around the globe to improve their lumber-grading and
treating standards. SFPA members who participate in SPC also qualify for financial
assistance for international trips to
