Big Red Visits White House

Last week, Taylor Machine Works, Inc. represented the state of Mississippi during Made in America Week hosted by President Donald J. Trump on the South Lawn of the White House. The Made in America showcase featured items from homegrown businesses in each state.

“We want to build, create and grow more products in our country, using American labor, American goods, and American grit. When we purchase products in the USA the profits stay here, the revenues stay here and the jobs…stay right her in the USA” commented President Trump.

Taylor Machine Works, Inc. was honored to be a part of the event. “A lot of people say manufacturing’s dead in the United States but you can look right here and see that manufacturing’s definitely not dead. We make things in Mississippi. We do the real manufacturing, not just assemble,” commented Robert Taylor, company executive.

Taylor Machine Works, Inc., located in Louisville, Mississippi, is one of the only privately held manufacturers of industrial lift trucks operating in America today. The company was founded by W.A. Taylor, Sr., in 1927, as a small family-owned automotive and repair business. Today, the company celebrates its 90th year in the business.
